June 13, 2026 Clinical Mentor Certification Course Date/Time: Saturday, June 13, 8:30-4pm, 1 hour mid-day lunch break. Location: Room 338, University of Utah Health Professions Education Building, 520 Wakara Way, Salt Lake City, UT, 84108. Parking: Park in the U or A lots on the South side of the building (nearest the road). No permit is required for the day.

Course Information

Elevate your clinical mentorship through this interactive, full-day, in-person certification course designed to strengthen mentorship skills, enhance mentee clinical reasoning, and help mentors find joy in the mentoring role. Instructors will provide practical strategies to guide, inspire, and develop the next generation of clinicians.

This program is accredited for CEUs for PTs in Utah. Participants will earn their certification by completing a short online exam following the course. While the target audience is PT Residency program mentors, the content is applicable to clinical mentors in other professions.

This course is hosted by the University of Utah Orthopaedic and Sports PT Residency Programs and supported by funding from the ALSAM Foundation. Instruction and curriculum delivered by Hospital for Special Surgery
