Introduction to R for Data Analysis Workshop - Spring 2026

The DELPHI Data Science Initiative is hosting a two-day Introduction to R for Data Analysis workshop from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM on Thursday, February 26, and Friday, February 27. This is an IN-PERSON event held in the J Willard Marriott Library, Suite 2751. This course is open to ALL faculty, staff and students.

This two-day workshop introduces the R programming language and is designed for beginners who are new to R and coding. Specific topics covered include using RStudio and basic coding principles such as defining variables, vectors, and data frames, pipes, data manipulation with dplyr, and data visualization with ggplot2. 
 
Instructor: Brenna Kelly, PhD Candidate in Population Health Sciences at the University of Utah.
