NRP Class

Date: Tuesday, March 31st, 1- 5 pm

Location: South Jordan Health Center (5126 W Daybreak Pkwy, South Jordan, UT 84009)

Cost: $100 + separate certification fee 

Capacity: 20 spots available

Audience: This course will be taught by a University of Utah Airmed instructor. Anyone who is involved in the delivery and possible resuscitation of a newborn would benefit from this course and certification.

Certification: Yes, certification expires every two years.

Course Description: This course covers both NRP Essentials & Advanced. NRP Essentials will introduce the concepts and basic skills of neonatal resuscitation. NRP Advanced covers lessons 1 through 11 of the Textbook of Neonatal Resuscitation, 9th Edition and uses simulation and debriefing to practice hands-on resuscitation skills with your Airmed instructor's assistance.  

∗ Part 1 (pre-course work):  Participants must complete online course work at least 24 hours before the in-person class date and purchase a separate certification fee of $55. Pre-course work instructions and course materials will be sent once a participant registers for the course. 

∗ Part 2: Instructor-led, in-person course. 

∗ Part 3 (post-course work): None, certificate is generated at the end of the instructor-led event.
